Los guaraníes son un pueblo originario sudamericano que se ubicaban en Paraguay, noreste de Argentina y suroeste de Brasil y sureste de Bolivia y Uruguay. Son los que pusieron nombre a la mayoria de los animales y plantas de la región.

This legend of Guarani origin tells how the flower of Ceibo was born, which is the national flower of Argentina and Uruguay. The Guarani are a native South American people that were located in Paraguay, northeast of Argentina and southwest of Brazil and southeast of Bolivia and Uruguay. They are the ones that gave name to the majority of the animals and plants of the region.
